(traditional Chinese: 明道; Pinyin: Míng Dào), also known as Ming Dao is a Taiwanesemodel, actor and singer. His first project was with SETTV as the host of The King of Adventure. In 2004, he made his debut as an actor in Heaven's Wedding Gown (天國的嫁衣). A year later, he was starred as the male lead for The Prince Who Turns into a Frog (王子變青蛙). This drama received a rating of 8.05, breaking that current all-time record of Meteor Garden, and became the highest rating drama in Taiwanese idol drama history (this record was broken by Fated To Love You in 2008
[1]). This is also the year in which 183 Club went public. His other high rating dramas, such as Magicians of Love (愛情魔髮師), had earned him the title of "The Jewel of TV Ratings" (收视之宝).

Modelling
Ming Dow was first discovered in 1999 when he took part in a variety show hosted by Jacky Wu我猜我猜我猜猜猜. The show invited Zhao Wei,Ruby Lin and Fan Bing Bing, who were the main actresses of Princess returning Pearl, at that time. titled Guess Guess Guess,
Then, Ming Dow was discovered by an unknown modeling agency. He modeled for various advertisements. He later appeared in several music videos:Fei Xiang's "She", and R&B's Love Bubble (【愛的Bubble[2].
In 2000, he participated in Super sunday, 超級星期天 in a selection to choose for F4 members.
Early Work ( 2002 - 2004 )
The King of Adventure (冒險王)
Ming Dow hosted The King of Adventure in 2002. The countries that he visited when hosting The King of Adventure were India, Korea,Egypt, Germany, Namibia, New Zealand, Laos, Guam, Fiji, Alaska, Mexico, Oman, and Indonesia, Kalimantan.
After two years, Ming Dow won the 40th Taiwan Golden Bell Award for best host.

Ming Dow starred as bike-racing champion, Chen Hai Nuo. The drama also stars Cyndi Wang and Leon Jay Williams.
Acting Career(2005 - Present)
Initially, the producers refused to cast Ming Dow as the lead role in The Prince Who Turns into a Frog. However, Ming Dow proved to be well-suited to play as Shan Jun Hao and Dang Ou. This drama is the only Taiwanese drama in which all five members of 183 Club appeared.
In his next drama, The Magicians of Love, he co-stars with his band mates Sam Wang, Jacky Zhu, and Ehlo Huang from 183 Club. Sam Wang is also a member of 5566.
In 2006, he starred in The Legend of Star Apple and Angel Lover.
One of his most recent dramas is Ying Ye 3 Jia 1 in which he plays Ah Jiang. He plays opposite former co-star, Chen Qiao En from The Prince Who Turns Into A Frog. Also he stars opposite Jason Hsu of 5566, who plays his good friend, Bulu (Wang Dao Ren). Also released in 2007 was Modern Youth(梦幻天堂).
He just finished filming Quietly Falling in Love With You in 2008.
Currently, he is filming Always Smile! in Hunan.
In December 2008, he and Chen Qiao En are set to start filming Staying by you, Staying in the sunshine/Taking of You, Accompanied by the Lights. The drama is set to release in 2009.
